Currently, once a death certificate is filed with the local county registrar, the certificates are printed and mailed from the Department of State Health Services in Austin, Texas and may take up to one month, estimate, to arrive here at our funeral home. If the certificates are expedited, they are available, generally, within 1 - 2 days of filing.
